Editor-in-chief of Technological Forecasting and Social Change

Scott Cunningham is a professor of public policy at the University of Strathclyde. He is one of two editors-in-chief for the journal Technological Forecasting and Social Change. He has been an editor with the journal, formerly an associate editor, since 2008. He was appointed to the journal by Hal Linstone, the founding editor of the journal.
He researches the politics of technological change, and has a new book on the topic contracted with Edward Elgar on the topic for 2024. He teaches on topics of infrastructure, public goods, and access to services. This includes investigating the importance and use of open models and open data in understanding the public sphere. He had a brief career in industry as a data scientist, earning national and international patents in his role as a data scientist. He serves the university as a member of the technology and innovation cluster. The cluster is part of the Glasgow Innovation District; the city of Glasgow is one of the United Kingdom’s largest, and most innovative high-tech regions.

Formerly Distinguished Professor at Yuan Ze University, Fred is now Visiting Professor at Stony Brook University, across SBU’s Engineering, Business, and Journalism Colleges.

Dwivedi is a Professor of Digital Marketing and Innovation and Founding Director of the Digital Futures for Sustainable Business & Society Research Group at the School of Management, Swansea University, Wales, UK. Professor Dwivedi is also currently leading the International Journal of Information Management as its Editor-in-Chief. Dr Tugrul U Daim is a Professor of Engineering and Technology Management and the Associate Director of Research National Academic Center of Excellence for Cybersecurity at Portland State University. His research has been supported by National Science Foundation, National Cooperative Highway Research Program, Energy Trust of Oregon, US Dept of Energy, US State Department, Northwest Energy Efficiency Alliance, Electric Power Research Institute among many others. Professor Daim has published over 300 refereed journal papers, more than 20 special issues and more than 20 books. Professor Daim is the current Editor-in-Chief of IEEE Transactions on Engineering Management. Prior to that Professor Daim had led the International Journal of Innovation and Technology Management for a decade. Brandon Randolph-Seng (PhD, Texas Tech University) is a full professor of management at Texas A&M University-Commerce. His current research primarily examines the social, ethical, and cognitive factors in leadership, entrepreneurship and teams. His work has appeared in such outlets as, Academy of Management Review, The Leadership Quarterly, Business & Society, and Behavior & Brain Sciences. He teaches mainly organizational ethics/behavior-related courses both at the undergraduate and graduate levels. His recent consulting experience is mainly in the public sector, ranging from local municipalities to larger defense-related contractors. Beata Gavurova is a Professor in the field of Management and Economics of Enterprise at the Tomas Bata University in Zlín in the Czech Republic. She works at the Center for Applied Economic Research at the Faculty of Management and Economics. In her research work, she focuses on the evaluation of the effectiveness of the economic, health, and social systems, on sectoral analyses, development strategies, and on the quantification of the effectiveness of the policies at the national and international level. She participates in the development of the evaluation methodologies, standardisation of processes, and creation of barrier-free methodologies for ministries. She collaborates with several ministries, government offices, national data registers at the national and international level. She is a member of several expert working groups, evaluation commissions, monitoring boards, and intersectoral working groups. She is author and co-author of more than 450 publications.

Prof. dr. D. Streimikiene has been working in the sustainability area since 1998, and she is an internationally recognized expert in this field. She is a full professor at Vilnius University and Leading Researcher at  Lithuanian Centre for Social Science. She is included in the Rooster of Experts in the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) as a world-class expert on greenhouse gas accounting, forecasting, and mitigation measures on greenhouse gas emissions and assessment. D. Streimikiene is regularly being invited to work in the European Commission, the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe, the United Nations Development Programme, the UNFCCC Secretariat, the World Energy Council, the IAEA, the Nordic Council of Ministers, and other international institutions as an expert on sustainable energy development and low carbon just energy transition. She has published over 300 papers in WoS-referred journals, is a co-author of 15 monographs, and has presented many papers at many international conferences and forums worldwide.
